The Journey Begins

Thanks for joining me!

I have bipolar and vascular dementia. It is something that is not talked about in general, at least not where I come from. I need a place where I can share my thoughts, experiences and the difficulties that are caused by these … what do you call it? Disorders, illnesses?

Maybe, just maybe can I find some people with the same issues, where we can lift each other up, console each other or even laugh about it. One of my friends said I should make beautiful memories, if not for me… maybe for my friends and family.

Thank you in advance for visiting my blog, commenting or asking questions. Having a disability should not be the end of the world, although some mornings when I wake up crying, I will try and convince you that it is the end of the world.

Greetings Saro

  1. I know it isn’t easy starting a blog and sharing personal details about your life. Even though it may be a little intimidating at first, I think you will find it to be a great adventure! Meeting others that deal with struggles in their life and maybe even something close to what you are battling with is so helpful! So many people in the blogging community are understanding and never pass judgments! I am looking forward to getting to know you and hopefully helping if I can!

  2. Thank you Saro for being so open and honest about your diagnosis. My wife has FTD and we are trying to be totally transparent in our blog. Some friends and family are furious about that. I told them to stop reading because it isn’t written for them. I am happy to meet s kindred spirit. We will pray for you, please pray for us.
